Music Camp Instructor

West Jersey Music Academy is seeking enthusiastic and creative Summer Music Camp Instrument Instructors to teach beginner‑level piano, violin, or guitar during our summer music camp. This role is ideal for musicians who enjoy working with children, bring positive energy to teaching, and are open to fun, engaging approaches that help young beginners fall in love with music.

Instructors will lead small groups of campers through daily music activities, introduce foundational skills on their primary instrument, and help create a joyful, supportive learning environment.  

Required

Strong playing ability on piano, violin, or guitar.

Genuine interest in working with children ages 5–12.

Positive, flexible, and creative teaching style.

Willingness to try new ideas and approaches to engage young beginners.

Preferred

Prior teaching experience (private lessons, group classes, tutoring, or camp settings).

Experience leading music games or group activities.

Comfort working with diverse learners and varying ability levels.

Part-time position for Tuesday through Thursday for the month of July 2026, may include evening hours.
