Overview:
The Las Vegas Aces are seeking the best and brightest students to join their internship program. The Aces tip off their 2026 season in May and are looking to maintain the highest level of experience for fans on and off the court in the community. Our ticket sales internship program is designed for students who want to gain first-hand experience on the front lines of a professional sports team. Under the direction of the Sales and Service Department leadership team, the intern will assist in all aspects of the sales and service department including prospecting clients, making outbound calls, selling season, partial and group tickets, and attending events.

Job Title: Ticket Sales Intern
Reports To: SVP, Sales Development & Strategy
Duties and tasks:
• Contribute to generating revenue through calls, prospecting, and networking
• Help with selling group tickets, premium inventory, and season ticket member deposits
• Cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation approaches
• Create new business opportunities through up-selling and referrals
• Effectively handle incoming calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales needs
• Assist with community events, representing the team to network and build a sales pipeline
• Assist with gameday responsibilities of the sales department
• Assist leadership team, marketing team members and other departments as needed
• Work to help grow the sport of basketball in the community
• Work all home games of 2026 season
Learning Objectives:
- Gain a better understanding of all aspects of ticket sales, both to consumers and to businesses
- Gain hands-on experience with sales events in a professional sports environment.
- Experience hands-on what it takes to sell for a sports team
Intern Benefits:
- Up to 20 hours of intern hours available per week, plus various events
- Interns are expected to work all Las Vegas Aces home games during the duration of the internship
- and other events as needed
- Interns will need to be available to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in college, Junior or Senior preferred, sports management, marketing, communication or business administration major preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a detail-oriented and organized
• Must be self-confident, resilient and possess a high energy level and enthusiasm.
• Must be a team-player and able to work well with others.
