2018 Summer Internship – Client Info Strategy Analyst, US

POSITIONS ARE LOCATED IN NEW YORK, NY (preferred) with possibility of NEWPORT BEACH,CA.

Position Requirements:
• Undergraduates or masters students  with an expected graduation date of Dec 2018 – June 2019
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent, at an accredited 4-year college or university
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Desired candidates should possess the following characteristics:
• Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science or similar major
• Experience preparing large data sets from multiple sources
• Strong problem solving skills, and the learning agility to adapt to new challenges
• Excellent communication skills needed to uncover requirements and share results
• Some programming skills: preferably in SQL, R and Python languages
• Interest in working in a data science role in the financial services industry
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

• Starts in early June, 10 weeks in length, Week 1 consists of PIMCO Fundamentals training

• Formal reviews/feedback at mid-summer and end-of-program
