Print & Brand Design Intern

BH Custom Print Incorporated is a Black-owned, MWBE-certified printing, branding, and marketing company serving NYC DOE schools, small businesses, and organizations across New York.

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented design intern ready to work on real client projects from day one — including banners, door wraps, logos, signage, stickers, apparel, and wide-format graphics.

👉 No busy work. Your designs will be printed and used in real environments.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Design print-ready graphics (banners, signage, wall decals, apparel, etc.)
  • Prepare files using CMYK, bleed, crop marks, and proper sizing
  • Assist with branding concepts and layout design
  • Revise designs based on real client feedback
  • Work in Adobe Illustrator to prepare production-ready files

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Students or recent grads in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related fields
  • Strong interest in print design & branding (not just social media)
  • Basic knowledge of typography, layout, and composition
  • Ability to take feedback and improve quickly
  • Reliable and able to meet deadlines

⚠️ Required Skills

  • Adobe Illustrator (Required — applications without this will not be considered)
  • Portfolio submission (Required)

⭐ Nice to Have

  • Adobe Photoshop or InDesign
  • Experience designing for print or large-format graphics

💰 Compensation & Details

  • Stipend: $100–$400/month
  • 10–15 hours per week
  • Fully Remote
