Videographer
Role Description
This is a W-2 part-time, on-site role for a Videographer located in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The Videographer will be responsible for managing various aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting setup, and capturing high-quality video content. The role involves collaborating with the creative team to conceptualize and execute engaging video projects while ensuring all visual content aligns with the company’s brand standards.
The Videographer will also assist with organizing production equipment, maintaining video libraries, and delivering projects within established deadlines. All required production equipment will be provided by the company.
What You Will Do
• Set up and tear down a portable multi-camera studio at various locations across DFW — full setup within 40–45 minutes
• Set up, position, and operate multiple cameras in manual mode (exposure, white balance, focus, picture profile, frame rate)
• Light the set using a portable LED kit — adapt to different room conditions (conference rooms, offices, mixed ambient light)
• Set up XLR microphones, run sound checks, and ensure clean audio levels before recording
• Operate the video switcher during recording sessions, selecting camera angles and managing transitions in real time
• Monitor audio throughout the session and catch issues live (clipping, background noise, level changes)
• Ensure all cameras are recording properly for the full duration of each session
• Transport production equipment to and from shoot locations
• Maintain all gear: batteries, memory cards, cables, firmware, and inventory
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in multi-camera video production (podcasts, interviews, corporate video, or live events).
• Strong camera skills — comfortable operating cinema or mirrorless cameras fully manually.
• Strong lighting skills — able to light an interview with a portable kit and adapt to different environments.
• Solid audio fundamentals — XLR mic setup, gain staging, and live monitoring.
• Experience with multi-camera switching hardware (RØDECaster Video or similar).
• Reliable transportation across the DFW metro area.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Sony camera systems (FX3, FX30, or similar)
• Experience shooting in corporate or office environments
• Familiarity with Sony picture profiles (S-Log3, S-Cinetone)
