Marketing Coordinator

MARKETING COORDINATOR
REPORTS TO: MARKETING MANAGER
JOB LOCATON: Ellicott City, MD
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $18.00 to $21.00 Per Hour


JOB SUMMARY
This position will support the marketing efforts for Trilogy Wellness a leading independently operated Cannabis dispensary. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and creative leader to be our Marketing Coordinator as part of our marketing group. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager on a broad array of sales, marketing, digital marketing, email marketing, social media. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight of marketing execution and digital media brand presence for Trilogy brand as well as additional marketing support for the sister brand Unalome House. The role is a full-time in-person 40 hour per week position assigned to work Tuesday through Saturday. This role requires reliable transportation.


QUALIFICATIONS
Education
 • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent experience.
Experience
 • Minimum 1-3 years Marketing experience in a direct to consumer, ecommerce or retail marketing brand or environment. Experience in the health and wellness is preferred but not required. Experience in the cannabis space is preferred but not required.
 • Ability to coordinate multiple project and priorities in a fast-paced     environment
 • Ability to work independently and create processes that drive efficiency across multiple brand platforms
 • Knowledge of principles of marketing and communications in both a retail and online business model(s)
 • Experience with customer relationship management software (CRM), email marketing software
 • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
 • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services via social media, email marketing, website content/ecommerce and other
marketing channels. This includes developing marketing strategies and campaigns and the tactical execution and management of those campaigns. • Demonstrated knowledge of organic marketing is required.
 • Demonstrated knowledge of paid digital marketing/ social media marketing is preferred but not required.


RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing the marketing plan at the direction of the Marketing Lead/Manager and the Director of Marketing. To accomplish these goals, the Marketing Coordinator will excel at the following:


 • Develop tactics and execute the marketing plan as outlined to drive brand awareness and qualified traffic to our company. Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their coordination from ideation to execution
 • Produce valuable and engaging content strategy for our digital channels, website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
 • Daily Sales analysis assist with the evaluation of campaigns- to identify their success/failure of sales- analyze roadmap with all data on sales and GPM performance, daily sales reports to inform marketing campaigns
 • Design- proficient in the use of Canva to design digital and print marketing assets for in-store promotions and external advertisements
 • Marketing coordination- assist with completion of marketing calendars, e-mail campaigns, sms campaigns and social media as requested by Marketing Manager and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.
 • Social media- support social media execution. Planning, producing and gathering content including but not limited to videos, photography etc. Coordinate with internal staff members to feature in-store content.
 • Project Coordination- participate in cross-functional projects including but not limited to marketing stack and POS technology integration, CRM data mining and other projects support the Marketing Manager and Direction of Marketing as assigned
 • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
 • Menus support the management of our online digital menus and in store menu boards acting as the fully trained back up to our dedicated menu resources
 • Compliance ensure sales, marketing and social media campaigns and initiatives meet the minimum compliance requirements of the Maryland Cannabis Administration. Coordinate approvals as required.


SKILLS & ABILITIES
 • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office products and experience CRM, email and other marketing platforms.
 • Proficient in managing a content calendar and the execution of content on social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook
 • Proficient in Canva design platform
 • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
 • Ability to work independently and as a patient of a team
 • Creative ability to create and execute social media campaigns that drive followers and convert new business
 • Ability to work effectively in both leading and being part of a team. Desire and ability to develop staff of part time marketing support personnel and take the lead on key vendor relationships.
 • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize with focus and diligence
 • Outstanding writing skills and demonstrated marketing acumen
 • Skilled in performing job duties in a demanding environment with the ability to stay even keeled while managing multiple priorities and projects
 • Initiative-taking, flexible, adaptable, and a multi-tasker
 • Flexibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 • Extended time working on computer
 • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts.
