Role Summary
Gurucul is seeking an entry-level Digital Marketing Specialist to support the execution and optimization of digital marketing programs that drive awareness, demand, and pipeline. This role is ideal for a recent Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and eager to build hands-on skills in B2B SaaS marketing within the cybersecurity industry.
You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Marketing Operations to launch campaigns, manage marketing automation workflows, maintain clean CRM alignment, and report on funnel performance.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Support integrated digital campaigns across email, website, paid media, and social channels.
- Build and QA campaign assets including landing pages, forms, emails, tracking links, and UTMs.
- Assist with A/B testing (subject lines, CTAs, landing page layouts) and summarize learnings.
Marketing Automation (Pardot / Account Engagement)
- Build and launch email campaigns, nurture programs, and newsletters in Pardot.
- Maintain segmentation lists, engagement tracking, and basic scoring/grading support (with guidance).
- Ensure compliance with email best practices (deliverability, opt-outs, preference management).
CRM Alignment (Salesforce)
- Support campaign setup and member management in Salesforce.
- Partner with Sales/RevOps to ensure accurate lead routing, lifecycle status updates, and attribution.
- Maintain campaign documentation to ensure reporting consistency and pipeline visibility.
Website & SEO Support
- Publish and update website content using the CMS (blogs, landing pages, solution pages).
- Support on-page SEO improvements (metadata, internal linking, keyword alignment).
- Monitor website health (broken links, redirects, content updates) and coordinate fixes.
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce weekly/monthly reporting on core metrics (traffic, conversion rates, CPL, email engagement, MQL→SQL flow, pipeline influence).
- Maintain campaign trackers and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistent tagging.
- Identify performance trends and recommend practical optimizations.
Content Distribution & Social
- Schedule and publish organic social posts aligned to product and campaign messaging.
- Repurpose content into digital-ready formats (short posts, banners, email snippets) using provided brand guidelines.
- Support webinars and events via registration flows, reminders, and follow-up nurture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree) in Marketing, Communications, Business, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3.5 GPA (overall or in major)
- Internship, academic project, or early-career experience in digital marketing, communications, analytics, or demand generation.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control (copy, links, tracking, and data hygiene).
- Comfort working with metrics in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with Pardot (Salesforce Account Engagement) and Salesforce CRM.
- Exposure to GA4, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, WordPress (or similar CMS), and basic SEO tools (SEMrush/Ahrefs).
- Basic design/editing tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe) for light asset updates.
