Position Overview
Heart Chiropractic & Wellness is seeking a Grant Research & Development Intern to help identify and secure up to $100,000 in grant funding before the end of Q2.
This role is ideal for students interested in nonprofit funding, public health policy, healthcare entrepreneurship, or economic development.
Responsibilities
*Research local, state, and federal grant opportunities
*Identify grants aligned with small business growth, women-owned businesses, healthcare access, and community health initiatives
*Build a grant tracker spreadsheet
*Summarize eligibility requirements and deadlines
*Draft supporting documentation outlines
*Assist in assembling financial and operational documentation
*Support proposal drafting under supervision
Target Outcome
Identify 10–20 viable grant opportunities and assist in preparing submissions targeting a cumulative $100,000 in funding.
Qualifications
Public Health, Public Policy, English, Business, or Pre-Law majors preferred
Strong research and analytical writing skills
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Interest in healthcare equity, business funding, or community development
Compensation
Project based stipend
Performance-based bonus if grants are awarded
