Sales and Marketing Intern

Role Overview:

Are you looking to break into the startup world? Go Gulf Coast is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Intern to help us scale our transportation network across the Gulf South. This isn't a "shadowing" role—you will be an active member of our growth team, responsible for identifying, pitching, and onboarding transportation partners, developing B2C app users, and marketing to make Go Gulf Coast a household name.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Prospecting: Identify and vet local transportation companies, shuttle fleets, and independent providers.

Outreach & Sales: Conduct "warm" and "cold" outreach (calls, emails, and site visits) to pitch the Go Gulf Coast platform.

Partner Onboarding: Own the "Day 1" experience for new partners, training them on our driver technology and operational standards.

Marketing Collateral: Design and distribute digital and physical assets (flyers, newsletters, social posts) to build brand authority.

 

Required Skills:

Mindset: You are a "self-starter" and results-driven individual who thrives in an unstructured environment. 

Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; you’re comfortable talking to business owners and community members.

Reliability: You have reliable transportation for local partner visits.

Tech Fluency: Ability to quickly master the Go Gulf Coast driver/partner app to troubleshoot and train new partners and marketing design technology.

Project Management: Keeping track of multiple partner conversations at different stages of the funnel without letting anyone fall through the cracks.
