Founding Product & UX Intern
The Company: Vereme is an AI-powered companion/stylist covering all aspects of appearance - beauty, fashion, exercise, diet etc. It's the “JARVIS” for appearance, but also helps consumers feel more confident. We move fast and we're about to launch.
The Role: We are looking for a sharp, curious UX & Product Intern to be the voice of the user. You will work as the bridge between our high-profile early adopters and our engineering team. You will specifically collaborate with our software engineering (including 2 interns) to translate user needs into technical improvements.
What You Will Do
Product Testing: Test the app's recommendation flows end-to-end. You will be responsible for breaking things and documenting exactly what is confusing or "non-delightful."
Engineering Liaison: Write structured UX feedback and bug reports for our engineering interns, ensuring they have the clarity needed to iterate quickly.
User Research: Conduct informal research within your own networks to gather early feedback on the app.
Acceptance Criteria: Help define what "success" looks like for new features before they are built.
Documentation: Record short video walkthroughs flagging friction points and suggesting improvements.
What We Are Looking For
Analytical Eye: You can distinguish between "I don't like this" and "This UX flow is broken because..."
Communication: You can translate aesthetic or emotional feedback into actionable steps for developers.
Self-Directed: You don't wait for a testing script; you proactively find ways to improve the product.
Interest: A genuine passion for AI, appearance industries, or consumer apps.
The Mentorship Benefit This is a for-credit/unpaid pedagogical internship. You will be mentored directly by Vereme’s Founder & CEO. She previously built a startup to a $300 million valuation in just 2 years, spent a decade on Wall Street, and has spent 12 years advising board members and coaching "high potential staff" at some of the world's largest companies. She was also a Chief Transformation Officer of a $10 billion company. Her previous mentees have described her guidance as “life-changing.”
This role provides real ownership. Your feedback will directly shape the product that ships to our high-profile pipeline of Hollywood talent known by the CEO. You will gain a deep understanding of the product-led growth (PLG) strategies used in elite Silicon Valley-style startups.
IMPORTANT: How to Apply To be considered, you MUST complete the following two steps:
