Television Pitch Deck Copy Editor writer/ Development Intern

Film & Television writer Pitch Deck Development Intern (Immediate Start)

Duration: 2–4 week project (with potential for ongoing development work)

Hemmy Productions is seeking a Development Intern to assist in refining and restructuring an existing television series package into a slide-ready executive pitch deck for network presentation.

The series concept and written package are complete. This role focuses on strategic condensation and sharpening of messaging for an executive presentation environment — not proofreading.

Responsibilities:

Condense long-form narrative into concise, executive-facing slide copy

Transform full paragraphs into strong headlines and structured bullet points

Strengthen positioning and messaging for industry pitch environments

Collaborate directly with a graphic designer to ensure clarity and visual balance

Maintain tone consistency while improving brevity and impact

Qualifications:

Film/TV Production, Entertainment Business, Media Studies, Communications, or related field

Strong writing and editing skills

Experience with pitch decks, investor decks, or development materials preferred

Understanding of television development, script coverage, and executive summaries

Ability to think strategically about audience and presentation

Comfortable working under tight deadlines

Ideal Candidate:

Has completed script coverage or development internships

Understands loglines, comps, and content positioning

Can confidently reduce a paragraph into a headline and 3–5 impactful bullets

Has experience with content strategy or media production
