We have a company in the Yard that is one of NYC’s most innovative open‑space design and consulting firms. For more than 30 years, they have helped organizations of all sizes preserve historic landscapes, develop cultural sites, and reimagine green infrastructure. Their approach is straightforward: they align clients’ needs with the unique characteristics of each site, delivering strong, effective design and management solutions that are sensitive to both time and place. The company is currently seeking to hire a Landscape Architect.

This role supports the development of advanced architectural‑level detailing in BIM using a variety of technical software and collaboration tools. Candidate portfolios must include construction documentation that demonstrates strong 2D and 3D design sensibilities, excellent technical graphics, and solid project delivery experience.

Qualifications:
 

  • BLArch/MLarch from an accredited landscape architecture program
  • 5-8 years’ post-academic experience in construction documentation.
  • A strong technical background with solid knowledge of construction principles.
  • A portfolio demonstrating an excellent command of technical graphics.
  • Expertise in a range of technical software and collaboration tools, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required; additional working knowledge of Vectorworks or Revit + Environment a plus)
  • Professional maturity and a strong work ethic.

Salary:  $80,000 +
