PSM (Power Systems Mfg., LLC.) is seeking a variety of interests for Summer 2026 intern positions in our Jupiter, Florida location.

We are seeking a motivated AI / Machine Learning Intern to support the development of predictive and analytical models. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate with strong Python skills and hands-on experience in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras. 

The intern will work closely with engineering teams to build, train, and evaluate machine learning models for data-driven applications. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop, train, and test physics-based machine learning models (PINN etc) using Python 

• Build neural network models using TensorFlow and Keras 

• Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering 

• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques 

• Visualize and communicate model results to technical teams 

• Assist in improving model accuracy through experimentation and tuning 

• Collaborate with engineers and analysts on AI-driven projects 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field 
• Strong programming skills in Python 
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and Keras 
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation) 
• Experience with data manipulation using Pandas and NumPy 
• Familiarity with Git version control

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience building neural networks for classification or regression problems 
• Working with physics informed machine learning models (PINN models) 
• Knowledge of model tuning and performance optimization 
• Experience working with real-world datasets 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

PSM’s 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from May-August.
