Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Seasonal Position | May – Late August/Early September
Seabreeze Amusement Park

Learn the behind-the-scenes operation of an amusement park while working in a fast-paced, energetic, and fun environment. As a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, you will play an important role in the daily operations of the Marketing and Promotions Department. This hands-on position interacts with park guests, employees, media partners, and community organizations throughout Upstate New York.

This is not a desk-only job, this role requires you to be fully immersed in the park experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

Create engaging visual content for social media platforms (photo and video)

Capture photography and videography throughout the park (rides, water attractions, food, games, guests, and events)

Monitor and respond to social media activity

Assist in executing content calendars and promotional campaigns

 

Park Promotions & Events

Support special events and in-park promotions

Assist with commercial and in-house photo shoots

Coordinate and restock marketing materials distributed to guests

Manage and lead the Employee of the Week program

 

Community & Media Relations

Assist with donation requests and community outreach

Interact with media partners and support press initiatives

Represent the park in a professional and enthusiastic manner

 

Required Skills & Abilities

Outstanding social media knowledge (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

Strong photography and videography skills

Proficiency in computer applications and basic editing software

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable interacting with the general public

Organized, creative, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to ride roller coasters, thrill rides, and waterslides repeatedly for content capture and promotional purposes

Ability to work outdoors in summer weather conditions

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

 

Schedule Requirements

Weekend and evening availability is required

Flexible schedule strongly preferred

Employment begins in May and concludes late August/early September
