Video Production Apprentice
ABOUT THE POSITION:
This is a paid, full-time, six-month Video Production Apprenticeship based in Cleveland, GA, with the potential to convert to permanent staff upon successful completion.
You will work directly alongside our content and production team, assisting with filming, audio capture, and setting up camera, lighting, and audio equipment during day-to-day production and on-location shoots.
This is a hands-on role inside our shop and production environment, designed to provide real-world experience while contributing to active projects.
Full-time, on-site availability is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ideal candidate would be either currently enrolled or recently out of a collegiate accredited film or directly related program.
- Secondary qualifications for those not in or finished with a collegiate program. You would need to have a minimum of one year of video content experience.
- The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding and prior experience working with digital cameras, aperture settings, lens exchange, lighting, audio, microphones, and batteries.
- The ideal candidate will be required to be organized, always on time and 100% committed to learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in filming using DSLR or mirrorless cameras (Sony)
- Set up and tear down camera, lighting, and audio equipment
- Capture shop and production footage as directed
- Organize, archive, and log media files
- Support the production team during on-site shoots
Compensation
- $16 per hour for the six-month apprenticeship period. High-performing apprentices may be considered for long-term employment.
