Arts Management Internships

DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP in ARTS MANAGEMENT for Summer 2026

The Great Lakes Center for the Arts (GLCFA) is a 501(c)3 accepting applications for its full-time, paid arts management internship in Development. The Development intern will join three other (hired) interns as part of the GLCFA Summer 2026 Cohort - Marketing, Production, and Venue Operations. All Great Lakes Center for the Arts interns will work alongside the entire GLCFA team and gain valuable experience in a variety of areas with a focus on the development of leadership skills within the field of arts management.

The 2026 Summer Season includes a Gala event and numerous performances by renowned artists and groups live on Center Stage. The 525-seat, $30 million venue opened in July of 2018 with state of the art production capabilities that have helped make the Center a destination along the shores of Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay. The GLCFA strives to inspire, entertain, educate, and serve all in Northern Michigan year-round by presenting exceptional experiences across the full spectrum of the performing arts and offering impactful educational opportunities.

We warmly invite and encourage you to explore the GLCFA website to learn more about our team, mission, values, and presented events before applying. We look forward to welcoming our interns to our coastal community this summer and working with them to leverage the power of the performing arts to tell impactful stories and to bring people together around entertainment that connects us and inspires us in positive ways.
