Stage Management Intern – Broadway-Style Youth Production
Compensation: $350 Total Project Stipend
About the Role: Jus HipHop Dance Studio is seeking an organized and high-energy Stage Management Intern for our 2026 original production. This role is perfect for a college student (Theatre, Dance, or Arts Management major) looking for professional experience in a major venue.
Key Dates & Location:
Rehearsals: Late May – Early June (Pembroke Pines, FL)
Show Day: June 7, 2026
Venue: Lou Rawls Center for the Performing Arts (Florida Memorial University)
Responsibilities:
Backstage Logistics: Coordinate "traffic flow" for a cast of 35+ kids (ages 4–17).
Show Execution: Assist the Director with calling cues and managing scene transitions.
Tech Coordination: Work alongside the professional technical crew at the Lou Rawls Center during tech week.
Compensation & Credit:
Stipend: A $350 flat-fee stipend will be paid upon the successful completion of the show on June 7th.
Academic Credit: We are happy to coordinate with your university (FIU, UM, FMU, etc.) to ensure this internship meets requirements for course credit.
