This position supports marketing efforts by creating compelling written content that highlights local attractions, businesses, events, and outdoor recreation. It is ideal for a strong writer interested in tourism marketing, brand storytelling and destination promotion.

Responsibilities

• Write blog posts, visitor guide articles and itinerary content
• Interview local partners and businesses to gather story content
• Edit and refine existing content for clarity, tone and SEO optimization
• Conduct research on customer desires and create a plan for future promotion

Preferred Skills

• Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities
• Ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable conducting interviews and research
• Interest in tourism, marketing, communications or journalism
