Traveler Newspaper Editor-In-Chief

The Editor-in-Charge (EIC) of The Arkansas Traveler serves as the lead student journalist and primary decision-maker for both print and digital operations. The EIC provides editorial oversight, manages the production calendar, leads a team of editors and contributors, and ensures high-quality, ethical journalism across platforms. This role works closely with the managing editor, online editor, and section editors to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging content.  

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
