Soundmap is a gamified social app for music fans. We have 200k+ MAUs, 4m+ lifetime downloads, and we are consistently top 30 in the iOS music game chart. Soundmap is the flagship product of Sincerely Studios and we currently brewing new ideas to push the frontier of interactive experiences. We are backed by A16Z Speedrun, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Gold House Ventures, Sequoia Scout Fund, Intonation Ventures, Untamed Ventures, etc.

 

💎 The Most Unusual PM Role

This is not a “Jira ticket PM” role. This is for someone who obsesses over consumer apps/games, ready to actually build, and is down to do everything to hit the next big thing. You’ll work directly with the founding team and touch every aspect of the business.

For Soundmap:

  • Design new features in Figma
  • Own product specs, performance and priortization
  • Contribute PRs when needed (yes, you’ll touch code)
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns, UGC, and paid ads
  • Lead community engagement across Discord, Reddit, Twitter

For Sincerely Studios:

  • Build prototypes and decide what double down on
  • Run our 0 to 1 playbook

  • Figma (you can actually design, not just comment)
  • Claude Code / Codex / AI agents
  • Marketing fundamentals (UGC, creators, paid)
  • Comfort with rapid prototyping
  • [PLUS] React Native / Typescript / Swift
  • [PLUS] Built a mobile app or game before

 

📑 Ideal Background

  • 0–2 years out of college (or graduating soon)
  • Must be based in NYC
  • Deep love for consumer mobile apps and/or games
  • Strong product taste
  • High agency — you don’t wait to be told what to do
