Summer Data Entry Associate

Department of Infectious Diseases, Einstein College of Medicine

The Department of Infectious Diseases at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Data Entry Associate to support several ongoing retrospective reviews, including reviews of all the cases of Chagas disease, malaria, and neurocysticercosis in the New York City Health + Hospitals system. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of data with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and abstracting malaria case data from the Epic electronic medical record system
  • Accurately entering data into the REDCap database
  • Analyzing the data and identifying trends, data gaps, and insights that can support future advocacy or provider education
  • Ensuring confidentiality and adherence to study protocols

  • Proficiency in REDCap and Epic preferred
  • Strong judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
