Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Assistant supports Sacred Mountain Julian’s digital presence and brand growth through content creation, social media management, website updates, and performance tracking. This role blends creative marketing execution with real-world hospitality exposure.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, organized, and capable of maintaining a consistent and elevated brand voice across platforms. This is not a passive content role — it requires initiative, professionalism, and alignment with the experience-driven nature of our venue.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Social Media Management
• Develop and schedule curated content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
• Maintain brand voice, aesthetic consistency, and visual standards
• Engage professionally with guests, vendors, and followers
Content & Storytelling
• Capture and create high-quality photo and video content during weddings, retreats, and equine experiences
• Write blog posts, website copy, newsletters, and promotional materials
• Design branded graphics and marketing assets using Canva or similar tools
Campaign & Performance Support
• Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns and promotions
• Monitor social engagement, website traffic, and email performance
• Provide concise performance summaries and insights
Website & SEO Support
• Update website content and ensure alignment with brand standards
• Support SEO initiatives through keyword research and content optimization
Marketing Administration
• Maintain marketing databases and email lists
• Assist with project organization and execution timelines

Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience managing social media for a business or brand
• Strong written communication skills with attention to tone and detail
• Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools
• Experience updating website content (WordPress, WIX, or similar CMS preferred)
• Familiarity with analytics tools and performance reporting
• Ability to manage multiple projects with professionalism and discretion

Compensation & Schedule
• $22–$28 per hour, based on experience
• 15–30 hours per week, depending on season and event volume
• On-site presence required for content capture and event support 2 days a week minimum
• Flexibility required during peak wedding and retreat season
