Fan Experience Representative

Position Overview

Sporting Club Jacksonville (“Sporting JAX”) is seeking energetic, service-driven, and team-oriented individuals to serve as Fan Experience Representatives for our professional men’s and women’s home matches. This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional match day environment by supporting pre-match fan zone activations, in-stadium engagement initiatives, and post-match breakdown operations.

Fan Experience Representatives are frontline ambassadors of the Sporting JAX brand. They help create a welcoming, high-energy, and family-friendly atmosphere while ensuring all activations and entertainment elements are executed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Match Fan Zone Setup & Activation

Assist with the physical setup of all fan zone entertainment elements, including:

Sponsor activation tents

Inflatables and interactive games

Branded signage and wayfinding

Promotional tables and merchandise displays

Portable audio equipment and activation staging

Support vendor load-in and ensure placement aligns with the approved site map.

Conduct equipment checks to ensure all activations are functional and safe prior to gates opening.

Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing fan engagement areas.

Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, partnerships, ticketing) to confirm readiness for fan interaction.

2. Match Day Fan Engagement:

Serve as a welcoming presence for all fans entering the stadium and fan zone areas.

Actively engage families, youth groups, sponsors, and community partners in fan zone activities.

Facilitate interactive games, contests, and promotional giveaways.

Provide accurate information regarding:

Stadium layout and amenities

Match timing and programming

Promotional schedules

Club initiatives and community programs

Assist with on-field or concourse promotions (halftime contests, recognitions, youth team escorts, etc.).

Represent Sporting JAX with professionalism, enthusiasm, and hospitality at all times.

3. Sponsor & Community Support:

Support corporate partners during activations to ensure strong brand presentation and smooth fan interaction.

Assist with community group recognition moments or special presentations.

Ensure sponsor inventory (tablecloths, signage, collateral materials) is properly displayed and protected.

Escalate any sponsor-related concerns to the Operations Lead immediately.

4. Crowd Engagement & Atmosphere Enhancement:

Help cultivate a high-energy, inclusive match day atmosphere.

Encourage fan participation in chants, contests, and interactive moments.

Assist with distributing rally towels, promotional items, or themed match materials.

Support match day hosts or emcees with coordination needs.

5. Post-Match Breakdown:

Assist in the organized and timely breakdown of:

Fan zone tents and equipment

Sponsor activations

Signage and branded elements

Interactive entertainment setups

Ensure all materials are properly stored and accounted for according to inventory procedures.

Assist with vendor load-out and site restoration.

Leave all areas clean and stadium ready.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Must be available for:

Weekend matches

Evening matches

All scheduled home fixtures (men’s and women’s seasons preferred).

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain standing for extended periods.

Previous experience in sports, hospitality, customer service, or event operations preferred but not required.
