Junior Strategist
TNRS is a creative-led growth studio for e-commerce brands with taste and ambition.
We’re hiring an entry-level junior strategist. This is a first job out of college for someone obsessed with fashion, music, and art, and curious about how brand building shapes culture and drives sales.
Who this is for:
Someone at the start of their career with real taste, strong curiosity, and a serious desire to learn.
You:
Live in music, fashion, and art, and pay attention to what’s moving culture
Care about brands as worlds, not just products
Want to learn how the internet actually works: Shopify, email/SMS, paid media, content, and analytics
Are curious how all those pieces connect, and how they affect revenue
Write clearly, take sharp notes, and communicate without drama
Are organized, reliable, and follow through
Take feedback well and improve fast
No agency experience required. Obsession, effort, and growth mindset required.
What you’ll do (and learn):
1) Learn the throughline
You’ll support strategy work by helping connect brand context to execution across channels.
You will:
Pull and organize insights from Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, and ad platforms
Summarize what’s happening and what it means in plain language
Help build roadmaps and weekly priorities (what we do first, what’s next, and why)
Support briefs for design, email, and site updates (clear goals, clear direction)
2) Support email and retention
Email is a core channel for us and a great place to build real craft.
You will:
Support campaign production (draft copy, QA, scheduling, link checks, proofing)
Support flow updates (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback)
Track performance and help propose what to improve next (creative, messaging, offer logic)
3) Help turn audits into action
You’ll support audits and help turn findings into usable recommendations.
You will:
Help build decks and documents clients can act on
Keep notes and project documentation clean and current
Turn feedback into revisions quickly and accurately
What this is not
Not a role where you float around doing busywork
Not a pure project manager role
Not a content-only role
Not a place where strategy is vague and execution is someone else’s problem
We move with intent. Standards are high. Taste matters.
What success looks like
You learn how modern brands grow without diluting their universe
You get sharper at connecting culture, creative, and performance
Your support makes the team faster and cleaner
Over time, you start owning small workstreams with confidence
