Recording Studio Engineer (Client-Facing)

Enviyon Studios is a professional recording studio serving artists and creators across the Chicago area. We are seeking reliable, client-ready Recording Studio Engineers to support paid recording sessions in a fast-paced, real-world studio environment.

This is not an internship and not a classroom role. This position involves direct responsibility for client sessions, including late-night hours.

Responsibilities

Engineer recording sessions for paying clients

Manage session flow from setup to file delivery

Maintain a professional, welcoming experience for clients

Prepare rooms before sessions and troubleshoot basic technical issues

Communicate clearly with clients and studio staff

Uphold Enviyon’s standards for professionalism, presentation, and reliability

Requirements

Hands-on experience in recording studio or similar environments

Strong communication and client-facing skills

Comfort working late-night sessions, including sessions ending after midnight

Reliable transportation for all scheduled shifts

Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

Professional appearance and conduct in a business setting

Important Notes

This is a paid position, not an internship or school placement

Late-night availability is a core part of the role

Reliability and professionalism are more important than résumé length
