HR Intern

As an HR Intern, you will work closely with the HR and Benefits team and have daily projects to work on and grow your HR skills.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Human Resources
  • Adding/Updating employee information in systems.
  • Reviewing or researching and creating job descriptions for open positions.
  • Screening resumes, pre-screen phone calls, scheduling interviews.
  • Addressing employee issues: counseling forms, written warnings, termination letters.
• Benefits Administration
  • Adding new employees to the benefit policies. 
  • Assist terminating employees that leave the company.
  • Assist with the Company’s Open Enrollment which is August 1st.
• Employee Engagement- Work with the Director of HR to plan and coordinate employee engagement events and regular communications.
• Other projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working on degree in psychology, human resource management or business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
• Proven ability to work within a team-based work environment.
