Description
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a student or recent graduate with an interest or academic focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Psychology. In this role, you’ll support key HR operations, onboarding workflows, recruiting coordination, documentation compliance, and day-to-day office tasks. You will also play an important part in organizing and supporting our Summer Internship Program.
What You'll Do
- Confirm all onboarding tasks and documents are completed and properly filed
- Create and maintain employee files
- Support HR tasks and updates within BambooHR
- Track onboarding task completion and follow up where needed
- Schedule interviews with candidates and hiring teams
- Ensure timely communication and accurate calendar coordination
- Assist with the Summer Internship Program
- Help plan and execute a summer intern event (logistics, coordination, communications)
- Help cover the front desk, greet visitors, and route inquiries
- Support office tasks including:
- Assisting with employee badges/access
- General office duties as needed
Position Details

Internship Length: 6 months
- Part-Time: Spring Semester (20-35 hours/week depending on intern availability)
- Full-Time: Summer (40 hours/week)
- Location: Onsite at 350 N Orleans
- Compensation: $18/hr
What You'll Need
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and maintaining confidentiality
- Professional communication and scheduling skills
- Interest in HR operations, recruiting, or employee experience
