Aesthetic Record is a HIPAA-compliant Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and complete Practice Management solution created for Medical Spas, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Wellness Clinics. We integrate full charting capabilities with HIPAA-compliant, fully integrated Telehealth, high-quality before and after photos and videos, complete point-of-sale transacting, full online booking, inventory & supply chain management, patient loyalty administration, 3rd-Party CRM integration and end-to-end key performance indicator (KPI) reporting. In addition, Aesthetic Record operates the Aesthetic Record Marketplace, Aesthetic Next, For The Record podcast, LeadAR, Aesthetic Next Productions, & AR Sync.

About This Role

We are looking for a Human Resources Intern that is detail-oriented and highly motivated by people. As an HR intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, contributing to the overall success of our HR initiatives. This internship provides excellent opportunities to learn about HR processes, recruitment, employee relations, and contribute to a positive work environment and company culture.

The HR Intern will report to the Talent Development Manager but will also work closely with all teams across our company. 

The internship is a paid, part-time position requiring a commitment of 25 to 30 hours per week during the 12-week program. Our team operates in a hybrid remote/in-person structure with three days per week in the office. There is some flexibility into which days/times will be required to meet both the needs of the company and intern’s schedule. Ability to work on-site at our Irving, TX location is a must due to the collaboration and communication amongst team members. 

What You Will Do:

Under supervision and supported by training, the HR Intern will be required to:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling and shadowing interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion and orientation.
  • Maintaining HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in employee relations activities and contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs or training sessions.
  • Assist in the creation of new, internal training programs and resources for employees

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with ChatGPT or other AI software tools.
  • Familiarity with Zoom, Slack, ChatGPT, GSuite and Mac OS

Education and Experience:

  • Open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in a career in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
