Copywriter Intern

Copywriter Intern – Summer 2026

Upstream 360 is a creative agency with a focus on product communication. We simplify complex product technologies through innovation, creative and video production.

 

The Role

Upstream 360 is looking for a curious and thoughtful Copywriter Intern who is eager to learn how strong product stories are built. In this role, you will learn how to translate product benefits and science into clear, consumer-friendly copy that works seamlessly with design. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, illustrators, and creative leadership to develop integrated ideas across a range of touchpoints. A natural curiosity, strong listening skills, and a willingness to learn are essential.

 

We will trust you to:

  • Learn product marketing fundamentals including benefits, 
    points of difference, and how products work (MOA)
  • Participate in meetings to understand project goals and ask thoughtful questions
  • Translate product science into clear, human language
  • Conduct competitive research to understand category language and differentiation
  • Collaborate with designers and illustrators to develop integrated ideas
  • Generate multiple copy options for each assignment
  • Participate in creative workshops and concepting sessions
  • Present work, receive feedback, and apply revisions
  • Support storytelling across video edits when applicable

 

You will need to have:

  • A strong interest in writing, storytelling, and brand communication
  • Clear written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Curiosity about how products work and how stories influence behavior
  • The ability to take feedback and apply it thoughtfully
  • Comfort collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team
