Social Media Intern

Social Media & Digital Content Intern

Position Type: Internship (Part-Time) 

Position Overview 

Almeida Law Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly reliable Social Media & Digital Content Intern to support the firm’s digital communications and public-facing content. This role focuses on translating complex legal filings and case developments into clear, accurate and engaging website and social media content. 

The intern will work closely with attorneys and operations staff to ensure that ALG’s public communications are timely, compliant and professionally presented. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Draft website posts and case updates based on court filings, complaints and settlement documents. 
  • Publish and format content using WordPress, including basic page layout, links and media integration. 
  • Create and schedule posts/video for LinkedIn and Facebook in alignment with firm branding and messaging. 
  • Design quarterly newsletter for mass email distribution 
  • Design simple graphics and visual assets to support reader engagement and content visibility. 
  • Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, tone and compliance. 
  • Maintain consistency across website and social platforms. 
  • Support special digital projects as assigned. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Strong writing and editing skills with close attention to detail. 
  • Ability to summarize complex or technical documents accurately. 
  • Familiarity with WordPress and MailChimp or willingness to learn. 
  • Experience with or interest in social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Facebook. 
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express or similar. 
  • Reliable time management and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Professional judgment and respect for confidentiality. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Background in communications, journalism, public policy, law, marketing or related fields. 
  • Experience working with legal, regulatory or policy-related content. 
  • Familiarity with SEO or digital analytics. 
  • Prior internship or professional experience in content production.

Compensation and Schedule
