Are you ready to launch your broadcasting career in one of America's most exciting news markets? WCPO, the E.W. Scripps ABC affiliate in Cincinnati, is seeking a passionate Summer News Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic newsroom. This is your opportunity to learn from award-winning journalists, contribute to impactful storytelling, and discover what it takes to succeed in the fast-paced world of broadcast news.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Gain exposure to all aspects of the broadcast news industry
  • Perform assigned duties relating to news production and content creation
  • Develop practical skills in your area of support
  • Work alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth
  • Contribute to daily newsroom operations and special projects
  • Other duties as assigned to enhance your learning experience

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university.
  • This internship is intended to be a position for a limited duration

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Strong desire to learn more about the broadcast news industry
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
