Social Coordinator (Temporary/12 months)

Role Summary

Long-term temporary assignment - 12 months.

Church & Dwight is looking for a passionate and talented Social Coordinator to support our Digital Strategy Team through 12/31/2026 (and potentially extended through March 2027). This person will work closely with marketing colleagues to support the growth and engagement of key social media platforms.

 

Role Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Lead monthly content calendar planning for Arm & Hammer Laundry.
  • Ideate, film, and edit 2-3 TikToks/Reels and 2-3 static posts per week, featuring yourself, for use in paid and/or owned social content.
  • Develop lo-fi social content briefs for brand equity and tentpole moments.
  • Edit written, video, and photo social content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Modify creative content from multiple sources to fit platform best practices with appropriate copy.
  • Schedule content and copy across platforms up to 5x/week using native social platforms and social media management systems.

User-Generated Content (UGC) Management

  • Manage UGC campaigns and manage relationships with creators to obtain engaging social content and sustain a full content plan.
  • Lead evergreen gifting efforts to source organic UGC.
  • Package and ship product mailers to influencers and key agency partners.
  • Manage product sample inventory and support influencer fulfillment.

Community Management / Social Listening & Trends  

  • Oversee daily community management and social listening for Arm & Hammer Laundry.
  • Manage social giveaways, including giveaway outreach to prospective brands, creating posts, sourcing prizes, selecting winners, and managing correspondence and fulfillment.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media and influencer marketing trends.
  • Proactively find ways to leverage emerging trends and create engaging content.

Channel Collaboration

  • Coordinate with influencer, agency, and digital strategy teams for collaboration and boosted content in paid media campaigns.
  • Perform tasks for digital marketing campaigns and social media initiatives as needed.
  • Create a self-serve asset library with all UGC, video content, and licensing information.
  • Allocate and track content budget. 

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor real-time content KPIs based on channel best practices and trends.
  • Prepare campaign performance analysis with competitive tracking. Produce weekly/monthly KPI reports.
  • Leverage content tagging, post analytics, and platform trend tools to generate insights.
  • Prepare reporting with the Associate Community Manager.
  • Monitor UGC posts for consumer feedback and reviews.

 

Education And Experience

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 2+ years in Social Media Marketing 
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube
  • Strong experience with Canva, Social Studio, Spate, Sprout Social and/or RivalIQ
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Spanish language a plus
