Camp Videographer
About the Role - Camp Videographer:
You’ll be the filmmaker and storyteller of camp, capturing the motion, sound, and emotion that define the Timberlane experience. Each day, you’ll film activities, events, cabin life, and special programs to document all adventures of camp. You’ll edit and produce short highlight videos for social media and an end-of-summer feature film that showcases the highlights of camp. This role blends technical skill and creative vision, perfect for someone who loves videography, storytelling, and the outdoors, and who takes pride in turning real moments into moving stories that last a lifetime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video footage of campers, staff, and activities throughout the summer.
- Edit and produce engaging social media content and an end-of-summer video.
- Manage footage organization, editing timelines, and media storage.
- Collaborate with camp leadership to ensure coverage of key programs and events.
- Incorporate music, natural sound, and interviews to tell authentic, emotional stories.
- Maintain and care for video, audio, and editing equipment to ensure consistent quality.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong experience with video recording equipment
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to the rhythm of camp life.
Friendly, approachable demeanor and comfort engaging with kids and staff. - Prior experience in event, sports, or outdoor videography preferred.
- Willingness to live and work in a camp setting
Compensation:
- Competitive summer salary based on experience
- Room and Board (3 meals per day).
- Travel expenses bonus.

Essential Functions:
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate cameras, computers, and editing software efficiently under time constraints.
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather while protecting equipment and ensuring safety.
- Lift, carry, and move equipment up to 30 lbs
