Job Responsibilities:

  • Shadow ER physicians to learn and assist in medical procedures.
  • Document physician-patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to PHI laws and facility protocols.
  • Perform non-clinical tasks as directed by physicians and chief scribes.

Expectations:

  • Part-Time (PT): Dive into 9-11 shifts per month, including occasional overnight shifts, averaging 2-3 shifts weekly.
  • Full-Time (FT): Immerse yourself in 16-20 shifts per month, including overnight shifts, averaging 4-5 shifts weekly.
  • Shift Flexibility: Shift lengths vary from 7-10 hours, providing a diverse and engaging work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma / GED
  • Skills: Proficient typing skills and concise communication abilities.
  • Working Environment: Experience the excitement of working within hospitals and emergency departments.
  • Physical Demands: Expect prolonged periods of standing, walking, and movement as you actively engage with medical professionals and patients alike.
