Darkroom Photography Specialist (PAID Internship Available)
Spend the Summer Teaching Photography at Camp
Camp Winnebago, a traditional boys summer camp in Maine, is hiring two Darkroom Photography Specialists to run our photography program for boys ages 8–15. This is a hands-on, creative role for photographers who love film, darkroom work, and sharing their craft with young artists.
What You’ll Do
Teach film photography fundamentals (35mm)
Instruct campers in darkroom techniques (developing film, printing, enlarging)
Design fun, age-appropriate photography projects
Supervise and maintain a safe, organized darkroom
Encourage creativity, patience, and pride in finished work
Who This Is Great For
Photography, fine arts, or art education majors
Students or recent grads with darkroom experience
Photographers interested in teaching or youth work
Anyone who loves analog photography and working with kids
(Teaching experience not required — passion and patience matter most.)
