Public Relations Assistant

We are looking for a Public Relations Assistant to join our Marketing team at JONATHAN Y. This individual will play an essential role establishing strong relationships with influencers and media outlets in the home design and lifestyle industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:                 

• Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement cohesive strategies to increase brand awareness across multiple social media platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Pinterest, and Youtube. 
• Identify, research, and establish relationships with key influencers, bloggers, and content creators in the home design and interior decoration niches.
• Maintain and update internal influencer database
• Collaborate with influencers and content creators to create authentic and compelling contents that aligns with our brand look. 
• Monitor influencer-generated content on our social media channels and engage with followers to drive community growth.
• Negotiate and manage influencer partnerships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure successful collaborations.
• Assist with tracking and analyzing social media metrics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with the Social team to create engaging and visually appealing content for press releases, social media platforms, and other promotional materials.
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule               

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience within a PR and/or social media role
• Experience with programs like Canva and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills
• Keen ability to develop integrated marketing strategies and tell stories using visual content
• Ability to quickly adapt to ever-changing social landscape
