Marketing Outreach Coordinator

Job Title: Marketing & Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time)

 

Job Overview: The Marketing & Outreach Manager supports BCYL’s visibility, community presence, and partnership development through outreach, relationship-building, and digital engagement. This part-time, in-person role is ideal for someone outgoing, creative, and passionate about nonprofit work, youth development, sports, and community impact.

 

Reports To: Director of Development

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Community Outreach & Partnerships

  • Represent BCYL at community events, networking opportunities, and meetings
  • Build and maintain relationships with businesses, sponsors, donors, and partners
  • Support outreach for fundraising campaigns, sports programs, and events
  • Serve as a professional ambassador for BCYL
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned supervisor.

Marketing & Digital Engagement

  • Support implementation of BCYL’s marketing and outreach strategy
  • Create and publish social media content aligned with BCYL branding and goals
  • Assist with storytelling that highlights programs, events, and community impact
  • Maintain brand consistency across platforms and materials
  • Track basic engagement metrics and share insights

Content, Tools & Events Support

  • Create graphics and short-form videos using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Support email marketing efforts using Constant Contact or similar platforms
  • Assist with promotion and on-site support for events, games, and tournaments
  • Collaborate with staff to capture photos, videos, and stories
  • Provide general support to the Director of Development & Marketing as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with social media, content creation, and digital marketing
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Constant Contact, or similar tools
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Passion for nonprofit work, youth development, sports, and community engagement
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
