Position Title: Culinary & Hospitality Intern
Location: Rome’s Joy Companies – Chicago, IL
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
Position Type: Part-Time Internship
Pay: $16.60/hour
Duration: February 2026 – December 2026

Position Overview

Rome’s Joy Companies is seeking motivated and curious young adults to join our team as Culinary & Hospitality Interns. This internship provides hands-on experience in the food service and hospitality industry while building professional, workplace-ready skills.

Interns will work alongside experienced culinary and hospitality professionals in a supportive, fast-paced environment that values learning, teamwork, and excellence. Interns may be placed at one or more of our locations: Peach’s on 47th (Restaurant), Rome’s Joy Catering, Parkway Social (Event Space & Social Club)

Internship Positions

Hospitality Intern – Social Club & Events Management

Supports Parkway Social's daily operations and event services. Interns assist with member services, food and beverage service, event setup and breakdown, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role also includes support for catering and kitchen teams as needed and provides exposure to hospitality and event management. - Work with the manager to promote business, put on member programming, and create a hospitable environment

Qualifications

• Ages 18–24
• Interest in culinary arts, hospitality, or food service
• Prior experience in serving, customer service, or kitchen work preferred
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in behavior and appearance

Schedule Expectations

• Approximately 15 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate school commitments
• May include afternoons, evenings, and weekends
