This internship is designed as a learning-focused experience for individuals interested in web development, digital design, and real-world application of website platforms in a consulting environment.

 

Internship Overview

The Website Development Intern will gain hands-on exposure to building and maintaining a professional business website while receiving guidance, feedback, and mentorship. This role is structured to prioritize skill development, learning outcomes, and practical experience.

The intern will work under supervision and collaborate closely with Strat House Consulting leadership on website-related initiatives.

 

Key Learning Areas & Responsibilities

The intern may gain exposure to the following areas:

  • Website structure and layout using platforms such as Wix or Canva
  • Translating brand guidelines into a functional website experience
  • Implementing basic site navigation, page hierarchy, and user flow
  • Supporting updates to content, layout, or visual elements
  • Learning best practices for responsive design and accessibility
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements

 

Qualifications

This internship is ideal for individuals who:

  • Have experience in web development, digital design, or UX/UI fundamentals
  • Are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a related academic program (preferred, not required)
  • Are eager to learn, ask questions, and receive feedback
  • Have familiarity with or interest in website-building platforms
