Content Marketing Intern

Handshake Conversations Matter (HCMNJ) is a boutique video media and LinkedIn marketing agency that helps relationship-driven founders and professionals show up online the same way they do in real life. We focus on trust-based content, storytelling, and consistent visibility - not gimmicky marketing.

We’re looking for a motivated intern who wants real, hands-on experience in copywriting, content strategy, and social media marketing for professionals.
 

What You’ll Help With:

- Drafting LinkedIn posts for founders, business owners, and community leaders

- Turning video transcripts and notes into social media captions and posts

- Helping brainstorm content ideas based on client goals and audiences

- Light editing and polishing of written content to match brand voice

- Organizing content drafts and helping prep weekly content schedules

You won’t just be “doing busy work.”  You’ll see how real client content is created, approved, and used to support business growth.

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong writing skills and comfort writing in a clear, natural, conversational tone

- Interest in marketing, communications, journalism, or digital media

- Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines

- Willingness to take feedback and revise (a lot of learning happens here)

No formal experience required, but writing samples are a big plus (class projects, blogs, posts, etc.).

Details:

Part-time (approx. 5 hrs/week)

Remote or hybrid depending on location (NJ preferred but not required)

Paid or for academic credit, depending on school requirements
