AUDIO OPERATOR
THE MAGIC OF ROB LAKE: LIVE FROM BROADWAY is seeking a skilled and dependable Audio Operator for upcoming 2026 touring and special engagements.
This role is responsible for operating and maintaining live sound systems for a large-scale theatrical production, ensuring consistent audio quality across venues. The Audio Operator works closely with stage management and production to support performances, rehearsals, and technical setups.
Responsibilities
- Operate audio consoles during performances
- Set up and strike sound systems
- Manage microphones, playback, and effects
- Monitor and adjust audio levels live
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Coordinate with venue audio staff
- Maintain audio equipment and cabling
Qualifications
- Training or experience in live sound or theatrical audio
- Familiarity with digital audio consoles and sound systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work under show conditions
- Touring or large-production experience preferred
- Reliable and detail-oriented

- Travel, housing, and per diem provided
Compensation
- Compensation is based on experience and engagement type and may be structured as a day rate, weekly guarantee, or hourly rate.
- Paid rehearsals and performances.
