Freelance Videographer – Event Coverage (Oakland)
Seeking a freelance videographer to support a professionally produced award show and networking event in Oakland.
This role is focused on event documentation, not live streaming or heavy post-production.

- Duration: Up to 3 hours
Role Overview
The videographer will work alongside a freelance journalist to:
- Capture on-camera interviews
- Film ambient footage (B-roll)
- Document networking moments, awards, and crowd energy
- Support the creation of a clean event recap
Compensation
- $300 flat (per diem)
- Up to 3 hours
- Complimentary food provided
- Professional reference available upon completion
Requirements
- Own camera + basic audio setup (on-camera mic or lav preferred)
- Experience with live events, interviews, or documentary-style coverage
- Ability to move discreetly and work in a live environment
