Brand Videographer

Job description:

About the Role

I’m looking for a hungry, creative, fast-moving videographer to follow me around and document my day — Gary Vee style.

This role is not about cinematic “one perfect video.”
It’s about capturing real moments, real wins, real energy, and turning them into high-volume daily content that grows my personal brand and the brands I work with.

You’ll be shooting everything:

  • entrepreneurship + meetings + business builds
  • marketing work + campaigns + behind the scenes
  • The Exchange (live music venue + community culture)
  • Real estate / development projects (Stay Golden / Hoover Hotel)
  • community projects (murals, creative initiatives)
  • and occasionally music sessions / studio moments (not the main focus, but part of the story)

If you love storytelling, hustle, and culture — and you want to build a portfolio while being close to real business creation — this is it.

ResponsibilitiesCapture

  • Follow me 2–5 days/week and capture real day-in-the-life footage
  • Film meetings, planning sessions, site visits, events, BTS moments
  • Grab content in motion: walking, talking, driving, setting up, building

Create

  • Turn footage into:
  • IG Reels / TikToks / Shorts (daily)
  • story clips (same day)
  • weekly recap video
  • occasional YouTube vlog-style content
  • Clip key moments into multiple formats:
  • quotes, lessons, behind-the-scenes, funny moments, real talk

Post-Production

  • Edit fast, clean, modern
  • Add captions (burned in)
  • Add music + pacing (high energy)
  • Create templates that speed up output
  • Organize raw footage properly (Google Drive / Dropbox)

What We’re Looking For

✅ Someone with speed + consistency
✅ Great instinct for social content + hooks
✅ Can make content feel authentic and unforced
✅ Comfortable being around people / businesses / nightlife / events
✅ Self-starter: doesn’t wait to be told what to film
✅ Thinks in content frameworks:

  • “what’s the hook?”
  • “what’s the lesson?”
  • “what’s the punchline?”
  • “what’s the narrative?”

Required Skills

  • Shooting video on phone or camera (either is fine)
  • Editing in CapCut / Premiere / Final Cut / DaVinci
  • Captions + formatting for TikTok/IG/Shorts
  • Strong organization + file management
  • Basic audio awareness (lav mic experience is a plus)

Bonus Points

  • You love entrepreneurship + marketing
  • You can shoot and edit same-day
  • You’re tapped into Corpus culture and the creative scene
  • You have photo skills too (event shots / BTS stills)

Output Expectations

This is a volume game.

A great week looks like:

  • 5–10 short videos posted
  • 15–30 story clips
  • 1 weekly recap
  • plus a growing library of evergreen clips

How to Apply

Send:

  • Your name + location
  • Your portfolio (or Instagram/TikTok)
  • 2–3 examples of videos you’ve edited (even if for yourself)
  • A short message on why you want this role

If you don’t have a portfolio yet:
Send 2 edited reels you make from stock footage or any footage you have — I’m hiring based on skill + hunger, not résumé.
