Pay Transparency:
The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $17.00-20.00/hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview:
San Diego’s Country Station, 103.7 KSON is hiring a local part time on air weekend/swing talent.
If you LOVE being on the radio and NEED to have some part time fun, please apply!
You’ll host two weekend shifts on KSON. Saturday, 3-7p and Sunday, 10a-3p. You’ll also be the primary fill in for full time air talent.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Create original content and perform live or tracked weekend broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
- Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence.
- Protect the station’s FCC license.
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly.
- Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
- Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
Required & Preferred:
- Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of ON AIR radio experience.
- Must exude personality and knowledge of the country format.
- Must have social media experience across all platforms.
- Must have working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air execution.
- Must be able to travel to 9665 Granite Ridge Drive, San Diego, CA.
- A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The majority of the work day will be spent sitting at the broadcast board, speaking into a microphone and manipulating board controls.
