Marketing Intern

 

Position summary:

 Make a difference in the automotive industry by applying for ADAC’s internship program today. 

ADAC’s paid summer internship program takes place each year in May and runs through August. For 13 weeks, you will apply the concepts you have learned in the classroom to actual business situations and scenarios. Take advantage of your summer break to build your resume, learn and grow in a real-world environment.

The program features collaboration among your fellow interns and ADAC professionals. In addition to team-based community outreach and philanthropic initiatives, the internship program concludes with a final joint capstone project and presentation. The project requires you to apply your research, problem solving and innovation skills to understand and identify a solution to a specific and relevant company business opportunity or challenge.

To complete the capstone, your program cohort will formally present your recommendations to ADAC’s executive team. 

Position summary: 

As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a wide range of marketing activities and gain hands-on experience across creative, digital, and strategic functions.

You will support the development of marketing assets for our sales and go‑to‑market (GTM) teams, including the design of visually compelling graphics for social media, web pages, presentations, reports, and promotional campaigns. This role requires proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud preferred) and a strong sense of visual storytelling to ensure all materials align with our brand identity.

A key part of your role will involve creating and managing digital content for our social media channels. This includes developing posts, short-form videos or animations, visual assets, assisting with content calendars, and helping monitor engagement to support our online presence and brand awareness.

You will also contribute to the organization and maintenance of digital assets, including historical documents, photos, and internal resources, ensuring our content library remains structured, accessible, and up to date.

Additionally, you will assist with research and content development for thought‑leadership materials such as white papers and industry insights. This work will strengthen your analytical skills and deepen your understanding of market trends and emerging opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Content Creation: Help develop engaging content for social media, our website, and other marketing materials to support the sales team.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including content marketing, social media promotions, and events.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and organizing our asset library.

Education & Experience: 

  1. College student working toward a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related degree.
  2. Experience working with MS/Windows, MS/Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Proficient in yard games, specifically: KanJam, Bocce Ball, and Corn Hole – Ability to win gold.
  2. The ability to discuss, problem solve and promote innovative ideas.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  4. Time management skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with others.
