Social Media Coordinator

The Tiny Hearts Project Social Media Coordinator will coordinate and grow our online presence across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and BlueSky. Reporting to the Programs Team, this remote role will involve designing graphics, and posting and monitoring content provided by staff, while ensuring messaging is consistent, mission-driven, and engaging for both professional and family audiences.

The ideal candidate has a medical background or familiarity with healthcare, combined with digital communications expertise. They are deeply motivated by our mission to improve prenatal congenital heart disease (CHD) detection and can communicate effectively with both medical professionals and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Tiny Hearts Project’s social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, BlueSky).
  • Post and schedule content provided by the Programs Team.
  • Design graphics for promotional posts using templates provided by Programs Team.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages in alignment with organizational tone and values.
  • Tailor messaging to resonate with diverse audiences: healthcare professionals, families impacted by CHD, and expectant parents.
  • Track basic analytics to inform growth and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure social media reflects organizational priorities and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing professional social media accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement.
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
  • Medical or healthcare background (clinical experience, sonography, nursing, public health, or related field) strongly preferred.
  • Passion for Tiny Hearts Project’s mission and commitment to amplifying its impact.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.

Time Commitment & Compensation

  • Contract position, approx. 20 hours/month (5 hours/week).
  • Flexible schedule, remote.
  • Compensation: $20/hour.
