Analyst

Summary: Analyst is an important member of the Midwest Equity team, responsible for supporting all
departments and activities. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with 
strong organization, research, communication skills, marketing and financial modeling skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Acquisition/Dispositions Support:
o Inventory, organize and analyze due diligence materials, including leases, operating 
statements, environmental reports, and legal documents.
o Organize and inventory materials saved for owned properties. Identify missing 
documents or materials and work to locate/save missing information. Organize new 
documents as received and make such system a living file—up-to-date at all times.
o Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of existing owned and new potential 
investment properties, including tenant performance, market rent comparisons, 
competitive analysis, demographic studies, and economic forecasts.
o Assist in the financial underwriting and modeling of potential acquisitions, including cash 
flow projections, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and sensitivity analyses.
o Coordinate with the Investor Relations Specialist to organize and input “war room” 
materials for posting in investor portals.
o Coordinate with the capital markets team/CEO/CFO communication with lenders, 
brokers, and other third-party professionals on the placement of debt or refinancing 
throughout the financing or refinancing.
• Research & Analysis:
o Analyze demographic and tenant data to identify market trends and opportunities.
o Prepare market research reports and presentations summarizing key findings and 
market trends.
o Monitor industry news and publications to stay abreast of market developments and 
investment opportunities.
• Marketing and Administrative Support:
o Maintain accurate records and databases of all acquisition-related activities and data.
o Assist with preparation of various marketing materials as required including newsletter 
content, lender packets, leasing packets.
o Assist in the preparation of presentations for dispositions, lenders, investment 
committees and other stakeholders.
o Perform other duties as assigned
