Marketing & Social Media Intern / Content Creator (Remote)

 

Are you an outdoor enthusiast who loves creating content on your adventures? Do you enjoy photography, video, and social media trends? Are you excited by eco-friendly gear and supporting a small, female-owned brand?

 

DryFoxCo is a small, mobile outdoor gear brand founded in 2017 by a solo female adventurer. We create compact, quick-drying outdoor gear made from recycled materials and believe in traveling lighter, exploring more, and inspiring others to adventure.

 

We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Intern / Content Creator to help create consistent content and manage day-to-day social media tasks across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to build a strong portfolio through real brand experience, not classroom-style instruction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create original photo and video content featuring DryFoxCo products during outdoor activities, travel, at-home use (camping, hiking, travel, swimming, paddling, gym, etc.)
  • Assist in developing and executing a simple social media content plan and posting schedule
  • Post 3-5 times/week on Instagram and TikTok using intern-created or brand-provided content
  • Write engaging hooks, captions and CTA, and research effective hashtags
  • Engage with followers and potential customers via comments and DMs
  • Interact with relevant Instagram and TikTok accounts to help grow brand reach
  • Promote online sales and drive traffic to the DryFoxCo website
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual style
     

 

Requirements

  • ~10 hours per week
  • Minimum 1-month trial commitment 
  • Remote position
  • Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated (marketing, communications, photography, or graphic design preferred)
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Comfortable creating content and being on camera
  • Owns a smartphone or camera capable of capturing photo and video
  • Basic knowledge of photo/video editing tools (CapCut,Canva, etc)
  • Able to meet deadlines and communicate proactively
  • 2 check-ins per week via text or email
  • Must provide examples of social media, content, or brand-building work

     

Compensation

  • Unpaid 30 day trial
  • Compensation available after the initial trial period (TBD)
  • College credit available (school documentation provided by intern)
     

 

Important 

This internship is best suited for someone who enjoys learning through doing. While guidance and feedback are provided, interns are expected to take initiative, problem-solve, and manage their assigned tasks independently.
