Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Derivatives Analyst to join our dynamic financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and managing derivatives portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives instruments, and risk management practices. Responsibilities

• Analyze derivatives transactions to assess risk exposure and ensure proper valuation
• Monitor market movements and pricing data to support accurate portfolio management
• Collaborate with trading teams to develop strategies aligned with organizational risk appetite
• Prepare detailed reports on derivatives positions, performance, and compliance metrics
• Maintain comprehensive records of all derivatives contracts, amendments, and settlements
• Utilize financial software tools to track, analyze, and report on derivatives activities
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation procedures
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into derivatives operations
• Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting derivatives markets and ensure adherence
• Contribute to process improvements for trade execution, reporting, and compliance workflows

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CFA or FRM are advantageous
• Working knowledge about Derivatives Analyst or in a similar financial analysis role within a trading or investment environment
• Strong proficiency with financial software platforms used for derivatives analysis and reporting
• In-depth knowledge of various derivatives instruments including options, futures, swaps, and forwards
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or MiFID II is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately
• Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting findings clearly
