Creative Media & Marketing Intern (Photo, Video, & Events)

Job Description

McKinney Media is a Bethlehem-based creative agency specializing in photography, videography, marketing, and live event experiences. We work with businesses, nonprofits, institutions, and community organizations to tell meaningful stories through visual media and strategic marketing.

We’re looking for motivated, creative, and reliable students who want real-world experience inside a growing media company. This role is ideal for students interested in content creation, marketing, media production, storytelling, and entrepreneurship.

This is a hands-on opportunity where interns contribute to real client work, community events, and internal projects—not just observation.

Responsibilities

Depending on skills and interests, responsibilities may include:

Assisting with photo and video shoots (events, portraits, branded content)

Capturing behind-the-scenes content for social media

Supporting event activations, setups, and breakdowns

Assisting with basic photo or video editing

Helping with content organization, file management, and media delivery

Supporting marketing tasks such as social posting, captions, and campaign ideas

Shadowing creative and business operations to learn how a media company runs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate (creative, business, communications, or marketing majors encouraged)

Strong interest in photography, videography, marketing, or media

Comfortable working in fast-paced, real-world environments

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Strong communication skills

Willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Experience with cameras (DSLR or mirrorless)

Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or Canva

Social media experience (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)

Event, marketing, or content creation experience

Entrepreneurial mindset or interest in small business
